Mitzvah Campaigns

We can help you perform a mitzvah at your home or office or for that matter any other place. Whether it is wrapping Tefillin, learning about Shabbat candle lighting or any one of a host of other Mitzvos. We bring the mitzvah to you.

Hospital Visitations

A member of our staff visits patients at the Beth Israel Needham hospital on a weekly basis. If you or someone you know is in need of a visit please contact us.

Senior Activities and Care

We conduct holiday events for the Jewish residents at area nursing homes. We also visit privately with residents of the local nursing homes, assisted living facilities and hospice homes. If you or someone you know is in need of a visit please contact us.

Spreading Smiles

It takes just minutes to change a person’s entire week...

Spreading Smiles is a unique volunteer program, created to enhance the lives of local seniors shut-ins or anyone in need of a smile. Many of us have parents or family who are seniors, living alone or in senior facilities, that would greatly benefit from an extra visit from someone who isn't family. Family can not always visit as often as desired, and not always is there someone else to supplement those visits. Holiday times get especially lonely.

And that's where Spreading Smiles steps in.  

Spreading Smiles matches local volunteers with local seniors for a weekly visit, bringing joy and a sense of caring to many.

Volunteers

Volunteers, comprised of all ages, are assigned “Buddies.”  They gain from the wisdom and invaluable experience of a life time. The reward that comes with people sharing deep and meaningful feelings or simply holding a hand or lending an ear in a lonely moment. These are the special moments in life that enrich both the volunteer and the senior. The Smiling Seniors program will also be having holiday events in local Assisted Living Centers and Nursing Homes.
