Your Friendly Shul

The Shul at the Chabad Jewish Center is a different kind of synagogue. Imagine having a place to unwind, to pray, to study, to celebrate, to shmooze...

At the Chabad Jewish Center there is no "synagogue," only a Shul. A "Shul," Yiddish for a place of prayer and study, is more of a home than a synagogue ... a home for any Jew looking for a warm and spiritual place to grow and study.

Led by Rabbi Mendy Krinsky, the Shul has no set membership, no assigned seats and everyone is welcome.

Weekly Shabbos Services

We would like to welcome you to Shul for Shabbos morning services, a full Kiddush and a discussion about the Torah portion.

Weekly Services begin at 10 am, Kiddush followed by a Shabbos lunch complete with Chanie's famous Challa and hot Cholent is at approximately 12 pm.

Mishabeirachs

Blessings can be given during the Torah reading for anyone who needs a complete and speedy recovery. Please email us the name and mother's name of the person who needs to be healed. Hebrew names are preferred but not a must. Customarily donations are made in merit of the person who is being blessed.

Yahrtzeit minyan

If you would like us to arrange a minyan so you can observe the Yahrtzeit of a loved one please notify us in advance. We will do our best to arrange a minyan on the day of the yahrtzeit. For more ways to remember a loved one click here.

High Holiday Services

Our High Holiday Services are inspiring and meaningful. They are free and open to the public and conducted in a way that everyone feels welcome. At Chabad, we don’t see Jews as unaffiliated, Reform, Conservative or Orthodox rather we see you as Jewish. No labels. No differences.

Chabad is a home for every type of Jew. Our Services are refreshingly casual and easy to follow. The English-Hebrew Prayerbook, along with commentary, melody and humor, make everyone an active participant.

The Schedule for High Holiday services will be posted on this site.
