The Chabad Jewish Center is a Jewish community organization in Needham, MA, dedicated to providing education, outreach, and community services to Jews of all backgrounds. We offer Shabbat and holiday services, educational classes, youth programs, social events, and counseling. Our mission is to help individuals deepen their connection to Judaism and live more fulfilling lives.
Rabbi Mendy Krinsky
Rabbi Mendy Krinsky was born and raised in Brighton, MA and attended local Jewish Elementary and high schools. He continued his studies at Rabbinical schools in Morristown NJ and Montreal Canada. Rabbi Mendy spent time working in Jewish Communities in Ukraine, Germany, Puerto Rico and in various cities across North America. He received his Rabbinic Ordination from the Central Lubavitch Yeshiva in Brooklyn NY in 1994.
Rabbi Mendy Is a passionate speaker on many Jewish subjects, he enjoys relating the timeless teachings of Judaism to modern life. His classes are sought out and well attended.
Mrs. Chanie Krinsky
Mrs. Chanie Krinsky was raised in Birmingham AL and attended middle school and high school in Chicago IL. Throughout her high school years, she worked as a successful counselor and head-counselor in Chabad summer camps in Ukraine And various cities across the US.
Chanie has extensive experience in the areas of children’s programming and education. She interned at Chabad Centers educating Jewish children in Raleigh NC and El Paso TX and worked for many years as a teacher in local Jewish day schools.
Shortly after they married in 1999, Rabbi Mendy and Chanie made the decision to become part of the Rebbe's “army” of emissaries. Raised in homes that celebrated Jewish life with joy, they viewed their strong Jewish education as an incredible gift they wanted to share. Imbued with a strong sense of Jewish pride and love for others, they are so grateful to be living in the wonderful town of Needham MA and to be serving the Jewish communities of Needham, Dedham, Dover and Westwood.
Rabbi Mendy and Chanie are the proud parents of Levi, Mushka, Gitty, Avraham Dovid, Yoel Tzemach, Shmaya, Pinny and Perel.
