The Chabad Jewish Center is financially independent from Chabad headquarters. All funds are raised locally and stay local. We are a not-for-profit and federally approved 501(c) (3) organization.

Please consider setting up recurring monthly donations via PayPal.

Donations or payments can be made in the following ways:

Zelle - You can donate via Zelle using this email address: chabad@jewishneedham.com

Check - Checks payable to Chabad Jewish Center can be mailed to: 472 High Rock Street Needham, MA 02492

Cash - Cash should never be sent by mail. Please call 781-455-9096 to arrange pickup of a cash contribution.

Auto Donation - If you are planning to purchase a new vehicle, donating your old vehicle to the Chabad Jewish Center may bring you a greater value on your tax return. Your tax donation value would be evaluated based on www.KBB.com while selling it on the open market may bring you 30-40% of that value.

Real Estate Donation - You may have real estate that has depreciated in value. You can get the full appraised value for that real estate even if you couldn't sell it for that amount.

Appreciated Stock - Due to the shifts in the market over the past year you may have appreciated stock. Donating (transferring) the appreciated stock directly to the Chabad Jewish Center helps you avoid capital gains tax while getting you a donation credit at 100% of the stock value.

Airline Miles - Donating airline miles or AMEX award miles or similar award programs is now considered a charitable contribution eligible to be deducted on your taxes.

Matching Grants - If you work for a large corporation or are required to give to United Way through your company your contribution may be matched by your employer. Our social service programs qualify for these donation matches.

Planned Giving

You may consider leaving a lasting legacy that will perpetuate Jewish continuity in our community. Including a bequest in your will to the Chabad Jewish Center is the simplest way to reduce estate taxes. Allow us to work with you, your family, and if desired, your financial advisor to develop the most personalized strategy for your goals.

Real Value - The real value of your contribution is above and beyond the cash value. You become a partner in the mission to inspire every Jew regardless of affiliation or background and to provide opportunities for Jewish education and experience.

Thank you very much!
