The Shul at the Chabad Jewish Center is a different kind of synagogue. Imagine having a place to unwind, to pray, to study, to celebrate, to shmooze...

At the Chabad Jewish Center there is no "synagogue," only a Shul. A "Shul," Yiddish for a place of prayer and study, is more of a home than a synagogue ... a home for any Jew looking for a warm and spiritual place to grow and study.

Led by Rabbi Mendy Krinsky, the Shul has no set membership, no assigned seats and everyone is welcome.

High Holiday Services

You are invited to join us for our inspiring, in person, High Holiday Services. We do our utmost to make everyone feel welcome and at home. At Chabad we see you as Jewish. No Labels. No differences. Our services are meaningful and include soulful melodies, commentary, and humor. The Hebrew - English prayerbook is easy to follow. Children enjoy a supervised play area and snacks. Kiddush and refreshments follow all Rosh Hashanah services. Break the fast at the end of Yom Kippur.

The Schedule for High Holiday services will be posted on this site.

Mishabeirachs

Blessings can be given during the Torah reading for anyone who needs a complete and speedy recovery. Please email us the name and mother's name of the person who needs to be healed. Hebrew names are preferred but not a must. Customarily donations are made in merit of the person who is being blessed.

Yahrtzeit Minyan

If you would like us to arrange a minyan so you can observe the Yahrtzeit of a loved one please notify us in advance. We will do our best to arrange a minyan on the day of the yahrtzeit. For more ways to remember a loved one click here.

Remember Your Loved Ones

Honoring our departed loved ones is a great Mitzvah and a source of comfort to those of us who have had a loss. The reciting of Kaddish and giving Tzedakah/charity are the prime examples of how to honor the memory of a loved one. Any mitzvah we do in their memory is a merit to their souls.

To assist in honoring your loved ones, the Chabad Jewish

Center has memorial plaques available on our Digital Memorial Wall for a donation of $540 per plaque/name. This provides a way for you to place a perpetual tribute to your loved ones while supporting Jewish continuity. Your loved ones name will be highlighted during the month of the Yahrtzeit (anniversary of passing) and a Yahrtzeit reminder will be sent to you. A plaque on the memorial wall includes a listing in the Yizkor booklet for the upcoming year.

Before the High Holidays you can make a donation of $54 per name to be included in our Yizkor Booklet for the four Yizkor Memorial services during the year.
